The Halifax Harbour Grudges have seen better days. Their roster is depleted and their leadership has changed. But they face their toughest season yet as they finally get the chance to compete on the international track. Can they maintain their small-town charm while evolving into a world-class roller derby team? They are embarking on their most important season ever. After 9 years of hard work and a revolving door of leadership, they’ve finally been given the chance to compete on the international track.

EPISODE 1
The Halifax Harbour Grudges are finally given the chance to compete on the international track. But the last 9 years have worn many of their players out, leaving the team rudderless and inexperienced.Luckily, new blood has arrived! From a new couple that slip into leadership positons to a crop of fresh new skaters, what the team lacks in experience is made up in energy.
Jumping The Apex - 3The team plays a strength factor game against Les Duchesses from Quebec. If they keep their points up, they will qualify for their first international tournament.
EPISODE 2
The Grudges are back from qualifying for the international roller derby league and jump at the opportunity to play two tournaments in two months. Pressed for time and missing players, the captains strain to develop their rookie team. Nervous and excited, they head out for their first international tournament.
EPISODE 3
The Grudges arrive at their first international tournament with high hopes. They struggle against this new caliber of play, their lack of experience and control leading to heavy penalties. Knowing they need a win to bring back to Canada, the captains make tough decisions going into the final game.
EPISODE 4
The Grudges are battle worn after returning from their first international roller derby tournament. There were tough losses and decisions made in Maine and many players are licking their wounds. With the Quebec tournament mere weeks away, more tough strategy decisions are going to be made. The Grudges arrive and play a team from Norway. The bout doesn’t go exactly their way, but the vibe is awesome, leaving the Grudges feeling optimistic about their chances.
EPISODE 5
The Grudges are in Quebec and ready to play. Their first game goes into double overtime! The second game turns out to be the toughest challenge the Grudges have faced. They reconnect as a team and as friends and return to the arena renewed and ready for their final challenge.
EPISODE 6
After such a chaotic and challenging spring, the summer season is calm, letting the Grudges relax. They only play one bout against an aggressive team but manage to keep their cool – showing they’ve grown since Quebec.Nardin and Wren start the Gender Fender Bender club, encouraging mentorship among players by sharing experiences like taking testosterone for the first time. Now that the Grudges are international, they have their first ever official tryouts. The roster is announced with some disappointing news. Everyone puts on their happiest face and travels to Montreal for the first time the International Championships are played in Canada. They get matching tattoos, reflect on such an incredible journey and look forward to next season.
